A sick mom, with her husband away, realizing there is nothing in the house for dinner
Getting her 2 kids in the car, the 3 year old without shoes
Driving to the only food that sounds good, only to realize the place has NO drive-thru.
Ghetto is not choosing to go somewhere else, but going in anyway
With a kid on each hip, both in pajamas,
Without her hair done and a RED nose,
With a shirt that unknown to her had pee all over it.
Ghetto is yours truly.
Courtney, I am sorry! That is the worst and yet it always seems to fall on us moms to take care of it all no matter what. I hope you feel better and please let me know if you need anything. Love ya
ReplyDeleteOh, that sucks! I am so sorry! You aren't ghetto, I promise. I rely on places that deliver when stuff is like that. If I lived close I would take your kids for a while! Sorry I can't help!

ReplyDeleteWell, if it's any consolation, most of the mothers I know have had their GHETTO moments.
ReplyDeleteIncluding yours truly.

ReplyDeleteChristie- There will NEVER be a picture of it...thankfully.
ReplyDeleteToo bad there are no pictures. But, the imagination can be very vivid and interesting!! Hope you feel better before the family comes to town.
