The Judge asked if he could have Chase's hat.
This is Bella imitating our attorney. So funny.On Monday, December 29th, 2008, we finalized our adoption of Chase. It was a great day! We went to court with our attorney and social worker and then we were taken back into the judges chambers and we were asked several formal questions and then the judge signed a paper and it was done. This was the beginning of a wonderful week, finishing with Chase's sealing and blessing.

Congratulations! Courtney, thank you for sharing your testimony on Sunday. You helped me remember that the Lord has a plan for all of us and our families. Obviously little Chase was meant to be with you! The picture of Lawyer Bella cracks me up!
Congratulations!!!!! I am so thrilled for you guys. I cant believe your two miracle babies!!! If I had a nickel for every time Ive shared bits of your stories with other people hoping to one day adopt...well, Id be a rich woman!!! You guys are inspiring and such a perfect example of what it means to be a FAMILY. I love you!!!!
